In 1961, the Bihar board of girls Hindi High School and in 1964, the ICSE English School was started at the request of the Parents of Kadma & Sonari. In Five decades, the campus of DBMS was filled with 5000 student who were getting the best facilities and creating record in Board Examinations and College admissions. Everyone requested us to start a college. As running a college with Ranchi University Affiliation was not going to help the student, I wanted to start a Polytechnic for Women. Everyone welcomed this idea as this would help women to get better jobs or to start their own business. Job availability for women in Jamshedpur was very poor and everyone could not afford to send their daughter outstation for higher education. We heard about NOS of the Central Government and got our accredition done with them. Thus a chance came to fulfil another need of the student community. The Academic course of the NOS was started in 1992 admitting boys also. The students who could not cope up with the tension and stress of the ICSE and CBSE High School and left at class 7, got an opportunity to do their 10th and 12th here. The Policy of NOS Learn at your own speed but learn well made them self confident and successful in college and competitive Examination. Thus, the Career Academy became a very satisfying Project. NOS or National open school is now known as NIOS- National Institute of open schooling.
